Terms and Conditions – Phi D VVZRL

2. Applicability

These general terms apply to every offer from Phi D VVZRL and every agreement concludedbetween Phi D VVZRL and a consumer or professional client (B2C and B2B).

By placing an order or booking a service, the customer agrees to these terms.


 

3. Products and services

We offer, among other things:

• Fabrics sold by the metre (minimum 50 cm)
• Custom-made clothing and woven fabrics
• Workshops, lectures, and demonstrations
• Historical consulting for museums, associations, events, and media productions

Descriptions aim to be as accurate as possible. Errors do not bind Phi D VVZRL.


 

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Payments are processed via Shopify Payments, which supports secure and convenientmethods depending on the customer’s location:

• Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay
• Accelerated checkouts: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
• Local methods: Bancontact (Belgium), iDEAL (Netherlands), Klarna, BLIK, MobilePay, Przelewy24, TWINT, and others

Shopify Payments is available for online sales only. For cash payment upon collection, please contact us in advance via maiden.minne@gmail.com. Bank transfers are also accepted.


 

5. Shipping and delivery

Orders are shipped within 14 calendar days after payment. If delayed (e.g. due to event attendance), customers will be informed.

Shipping costs depend on weight and destination and are shown before checkout.


 

6. Right of withdrawal

For standard products, consumers may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery.

Exclusions include:

• Fabrics cut to size
• Custom-made garments
• Woven fabrics made to order

Complaints about custom work must be submitted within 30 days via email. We will worktogether to resolve the issue.


 

7. Workshops, lectures and services

Cancellations are allowed up to 14 days before the scheduled date. We reserve the right tocharge for work already completed (e.g. research, prep, printing).

Requests for changes must be submitted by email. Additional costs may apply if changes increase workload.


 

8. Colour representation

We aim for accurate colour display using studio photography, calibrated equipment, andPantone-based naming.

However, colour differences may occur due to:

• Screen settings and lighting
• Natural fibres (e.g. linen)
• Recycled wool (varies per batch)

Swatches are available upon request. We do not accept returns based on colour differences.


 

9. Liability

Phi D VVZRL is not liable for consequential damages, such as loss of income or reputation, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

In the case of errors in custom work, we seek a solution in collaboration with the client, ifnotified within 30 days.


 

10. Fabric care and shrinkage

Customers are responsible for correct handling of fabrics and garments.

• All fabrics must be pre-washed before use due to 1–6% potential shrinkage
• Washing instructions on the website are indicative only
• The customer must assess what treatment is suitable for their use

Phi D VVZRL is not liable for damage resulting from incorrect treatment, processing, sewing, or use.


 

11. Complaints

Complaints must be submitted within 14 days to maiden.minne@gmail.com.

If unresolved, consumers may submit a complaint via the European ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/odr


 

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

Only Belgian law applies to all contracts. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Mechelen, unless otherwise required by consumer law.


 

13. Privacy and cookies

Our webshop runs on Shopify. For privacy details, see Shopify's Privacy Policy.

We use cookies for functionality and analytics. By using our webshop, customers consent tothis use.
